Where To Spend Your Mile High Halloween

Image result for pumpkinIt's finally spooky season! Between the pumpkin spice (everything!), Halloween, and the cooler weather, fall is without a doubt one of the best seasons. You've already carved your pumpkins and set up your decorations...I bet you're dying to plan your other Halloween activities! Just like almost every holiday, Halloween comes with a ton of fun things to do in the Denver area. Grab the family, put on your costumes, and head to one of the fun events below!

Every year in October, the Denver Zoo puts on one of the best family fun events in the area, Boo at the Zoo. As if the Denver Zoo wasn't already fun enough, they put on some great events year round, including this fun fall event. Indulge in the boo-tiful fall foliage with the whole family while enjoying fun activities. On October 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th, your kiddos can enjoy trick-or-treating stations, creepy-crawly animal demonstrations, character meet and greets, live entertainment, and more! Prices are $20 for adults (ages 12-64), $17 for seniors (ages 65+), $14 for children (ages 3-11), and kids 2 and under are FREE. To purchase tickets or learn more about Boo at the Zoo, click here.

Looking for something unique to try with the kids this year? Denver Botanic Gardens' Glow at the Gardens is just that. Using all real pumpkins harvested from local farms, the pumpkin artists go above and beyond by creating pumpkin sculptures. Aside from displaying amazing sculptures, they also have extremely detailed showpiece pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. The event runs from October 21st-25th from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM. Aside from getting to see all the incredible sculptures, there is also pumpkin carving, glow in the dark games, trick-or-treating, and more! Prices include $21 for adults, $19 for adult members, $17 for children (ages 3-15), $15 for child members, and children 2 and under are FREE (timed tickets are issued to reduce event congestion). Boonion Station: Trick-Or-Treat Parade 

Last but certainly not least; Denver's Union Station is hosting a Trick-Or-Treat Parade on October 24th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and you do not want to miss out. The best part about it? It's absolutely FREE! You and the kiddos can enjoy a ghostly trick-or-treat parade in the heart of downtown Denver with balloon and face paint artists, live entertainment, and lots more!
