Oktoberfest

Some of you are probably familiar with Oktoberfest, which is a Volksfest held every year in Munich, Germany, with more than 6 million attendants that come from all over the world. This year, Denver will be hosting Oktoberfest for its 50th anniversary in our historic Ballpark Neighborhood, which typically brings in about 250,000 attendants over the six-day two-weekend event. Oktoberfest kicks off on Friday, September 20th with a ceremonial tapping of the first keg at 2:00 PM. The festival runs until that Sunday, September 22nd, and starts back up the following weekend on the 27th and runs until the 29th. Some other fun activities going on at Oktoberfest include a Stein Hoisting Contest, wiener dog races, keg bowling, live music, dancing and a new Sunday brunch experience. Another great part about the event? Admission is free! Although if you would like a VIP experience tickets are available for purchase on their website here.
