INFINITI OF DENVER is excited to introduce the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80, which made its grand debut at the Edge in Hudson Yards, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere on March 20, 2024. The unveiling of this full-size luxury SUV was not just a reveal; it was a monumental engineering and logistical achievement.

The journey to get the QX80 onto the Edge was immense, involving 40 days of rigorous work, over 4,300 man-hours, and nearly 100 elevator trips. The complex process required the vehicle to be disassembled into thousands of pieces. The engine and fuel systems were removed, and the SUV was precision-cut into modular components that were small enough to fit into the elevators and navigate the hallways of the building.

Once at the summit, the QX80 was meticulously reassembled. The electrical system was ingeniously reverse-engineered to power up the interior features, including the plush seats, ambient lighting, and the state-of-the-art Klipsch audio system. The precision was so exact that even INFINITI’s head designer was astounded, unable to discern that the vehicle had ever been disassembled.

This reveal was supported by the dedication of hundreds of team members from the development, planning, and execution phases. Their collaborative effort showcased not only the innovative spirit of INFINITI but also a new benchmark in automotive presentations.
