There is no doubt that Denver is one of the most beautiful cities, especially over Spring and Summer. Between the colorful trees and the mountain views, there really is just nothing like it. This city definitely does not lack on fun things to do, whether it be going to a baseball game or spending your day in the Denver Art Museum. Below are some of our favorite activities to do during this time of year along with what INFINITI we love to take to these fun places!

Denver Botanic Gardens Related image

With all of the beautiful trees and flowers starting to blossom, this is the perfect place to spend a gorgeous Spring day. Located in the Capitol Hill District in Denver, the Denver Botanic Gardens is a 24-acre garden filled with exquisite plants from the Rocky Mountain Region and similar regions throughout the world. Their mission is to inspire the public by connecting people to the environment and their past, present, and future relationships with plants in the Rocky Mountain Region. The Denver Botanic Gardens have a total of seven different living collections, including two natural history collections, a library, and art collections. Although they are a part of Denver Free Days, where they have select days you can get in for free, tickets are quite affordable. Members are free, and it's $12.50 for Adults, $9.50 for Seniors (65+), $9.50 for Military & Veterans (with ID), $9.00 for Students (with ID), $9 for Children 3-15, and Children 2 and under are free. Similar to the Rockies stadium, the Botanic Gardens are right in the city, so we suggest driving a 2019 Q60 Coupe, to really make sure you fit in those tight spots. The Denver Botanic Gardens is one of the most beautiful spots in town and is definitely a must-see. All of the natural beauty is breathtaking and definitely worth seeing in person!

Colorado Rockies Games Image result for coors field

As you may know, the Colorado Rockies are one of our luxury partners, and here at INFINITI OF DENVER we love a good baseball game! Although the Rockies have only been playing since 1993, they have left a huge stamp in the city of Denver. The experience you get at a Rockies game is unlike any other. With the delicious food & drinks, the crazed fans, and the mountain and city skyline views, you will have the time of your life. Opening day is typically in the beginning of April with the season running all the way until the end of September, and the average regular season tickets range from $5 to $200. While you're at the legendary Coors field, you can check out the on-site breweries and restaurants, or spend your evening on the rooftop overlooking the mountains and the city skyline. Coors Field also offers behind-the-scenes tours of the entire stadium with the option of doing a private tour, Monday through Saturday. Since parking here is a little tight with it being right in the middle of the city, we suggest taking a 2019 Q50. Whether it be with family or friends, Rockies games are tons of fun to go to and they really show what Colorado is all about!

Let's go Rox!

Red Rocks ConcertsRelated image

Red Rocks Amphitheater is without a doubt one of the most, if not the most breathtaking concert venue in the world. Getting its start as a music venue in the early 1900's, Red Rocks has been the perfect place to spend a Spring or Summer Colorado night listening to great music. Located in Morrison about 10 miles west of Denver, this rock structured open-air venue has hosted thousands of popular Artists including The Beatles, Sting, U2, and many more. On top of being a beautiful place to go watch some of your favorite performers, Red Rocks Amphitheater is actually a National Historic Landmark and also a public park. Along with incredible concerts, you also have the option to embark on one of their guided tours, bike around the Red Rocks, or shop and dine. Since you'll be taking a ride into the mountains and through some winding roads, we suggest taking a 2019 QX80 up there. I mean, those huge wheels can practically handle anything! Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater is definitely a sight to see and a fantastic place to watch a concert!

Plan a Romantic Valentine’s at One of These Denver Area Fine Dining Restaurants

Plan a Romantic Valentine's at One of These Denver Area Fine Dining RestaurantsCooking times are a bit different in the Mile High City thanks to the altitude, but that does nothing to slow down the professional chefs who operate the many fine-dining restaurants throughout Denver, Colorado. That's good news for Colorado lovebirds, because eating at a fancy restaurant is one of the classic ways to spend time with your significant other on Valentine's Day. If you live in the area, consider making a reservation at one of the following establishments.

Rioja

Rioja takes its name from a region in Spain, and it serves a variety of fine Mediterranean meals with plenty of wines to match them. Rioja is open for lunch and dinner, and during both times, they serve hand-made pasta in appetizer or entree amounts plus main dishes that use chicken, spiced, lamb, fish, or vegetarian options. You could also choose a tasting menu and share a little of everything with your date. You should also consider getting one of Rioja's unique cocktails. The restaurant is on Larimer Street between 14th and 15th Street.

Work and Class

If you prefer your fine food in a less formal setting, you can head north on Larimer Street to Work and Class, a place that combines Southern American and Latin American foods with a simple dining room that still comes with cloth napkins. The menu changes based on what seasonal ingredients are available, but they include options like Cajun-fried catfish, roasted goat, dirty rice, and jalapeno cornbread. Work and Class also has a variety of wines, beers, and liquors, not to mention a few house cocktails.

Acorn

Head up North Broadway until it becomes Brighton Boulevard and you'll spot Acorn on your right. Acorn has a very simple, industrial design that captures the feel of the old foundry that once filled the building. Acorn takes its name from the oak-fired grill and oven at the heart of the restaurant's kitchen, and just about every American-style menu option goes through the oak grill at some point. The menu is seasonal and always changing, and along with the food they offer high-booze, low-booze, and virgin cocktails.

Mercantile Dining and Provision

The uniquely named Mercantile Dining and Provision is both a fine-dining restaurant and a market where you can buy the house-made ingredients used in the restaurant's meals. Located in the Denver Union Station, Mercantile offers small plates, large plates, and family plates that consist of classic American comfort foods taken to the next level by a creative professional chef. If you're interested in how the food is made, you can sit in one of the seats with a good view of the open kitchen and watch the staff at work.

An expensive dinner is a classic way to spend your Valentine's Day, and the restaurants above are all good choices that offer different moods for different couples. They're also just a sample of the fine-dining establishments in Denver, so if all of them are booked solid on Valentine's Day, you'll have plenty of other good options to choose from.

Enjoy Some Culture at One of These Denver Area Museums

Enjoy Some Culture at One of These Denver Area MuseumsWhether you're looking for a place to indulge your inner art critic, engage your mind, or learn about local history, Denver's museum scene has something for everyone. Centrally located, these museums are within close proximity of one another, enabling you to explore them on foot or with just a few short drives. To get some culture, head to one of these world-class institutions.

Denver Art Museum

With over 70,000 works from North America and across the world, the critically acclaimed Denver Art Museum is the largest of its kind between Chicago and the West Coast. Works from Georgia O'Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Henri Duchamp highlight the more popular works at the museum. However, the museum's American Indian art is among the most extensive in the world, giving visitors a glance into the history and culture of the area's oldest inhabitants.

Located at 100 W. 14th Avenue Parkway, the Denver Art Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday. Tickets for Colorado residents are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Out-of-state visitors pay $13 for adult admission and $10 for senior and student tickets.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Covering 716,000 square feet and housing over 1 million objects and artifacts, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is the largest museum in the city. Geared to entertain both adults and kids, the museum has 10 permanent exhibits as well as a rotation of traveling exhibitions. The Discovery Zone helps children learn about science, ecology, and nature with a variety of hands-on exhibits, while the Prehistoric Journey features life-size skeletons of dinosaurs.

The on-site planetarium is another awesome amenity, giving visitors a chance to gaze at the stars, planets, nebulas, and constellations visible from Colorado. An IMAX theater adds another level of entertainment, showing both educational and Hollywood blockbusters throughout the year.

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is located at 2001 Colorado Blvd. at the eastern end of City Park. Admission is $16.95 for adults (19-64), $13.95 for seniors (65+), and $11.95 for juniors (3-18). Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Museum of Contemporary Art Denver

Opened in 1996, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Denver is the city's first museum dedicated entirely to modern art. With amazing architecture, a rotating series of events, and a rooftop cafe, it's a great spot to visit, even if you aren't into contemporary art. What makes this museum even more unusual is that it has no permanent exhibitions. Instead, it has rotating exhibits that last two to three months, meaning your experience is different each time you visit.

You'll find MCA Denver at 1485 Delagny St. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $8 for adults (19-64), $5 for seniors (65+), and free for children 18 and under. Don't miss out on penny entrance days for Colorado residents on the first of each month.

From one of the world's largest collections of American Indian art to giant dinosaur skeletons, Denver's museums are a surprising breath of fresh air in the Mile High City.

A Buyers Guide to the 2019 Q60

The Q60 is currently the only coupe model INFINITI has on offer, but with a vehicle this good, you don't really need more than one. As a coupe, the 2019 Q60 is smaller, lighter, and nimbler than the sedans INFINITI offers, but it offers the same kind of interior quality you'd expect from a luxury automaker. With modern materials, a strong engine, and high-tech features, the Q60 is an excellent option for anyone looking for sporty power combined with a luxury interior. Read on to learn more about the 2019 Q60.

Power

INFINITI's innovation allows you to tap into 300 Horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque as soon as you touch the pedal. Additionally, there's the Red Sport 400, a trim that significantly upgrades the V-6 engine to make it produce 400 horsepower. Each model comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission, but you can shift manually using the paddle shifters available on the Sport and Red Sport models.

Performance

The engine isn't the only part of the Q60 that has fun. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is available if you're willing to pay a little extra; you'll trade some fuel efficiency for much better traction on sharp corners and unpaved roads. You can also get adaptive steering and an adaptive suspension, and by using them, you can adjust how much response you feel from the road. This lets you drive in comfort one minute and switch to a responsive sporty feel the next.

Interior

The 2019 Q60 seats four, and as a coupe, it only has two doors and less space than INFINITI's sedan models. This also means it has a small trunk with 8.7 cubic feet of space for your stuff. Still, the seats it has are very comfortable and come in either leatherette or true leather upholstery. You also get a dual-zone automatic climate control system with a cabin air filter, and the intelligent Plasmacluster air purification system removes bad odors from outside while clearing out smells created inside.

Technology

The Q60's interior technology starts with a basic six-speaker audio system, but you don't need the highest trim to get the premium Bose 13-speaker audio system with streaming audio and satellite radio. Every trim comes with the InTouch dual display system, which gives you a 7-inch or 8-inch screen in the center console. Top trims also come with complimentary InTouch services for up to four years. These services are on top of SiriusXM's Traffic and Travel Link, both of which come with the available navigation system for four years.

The 2019 Q60 is a great example of what you can get from an INFINITI coupe. It combines strong, high-tech features with significant power and handling, plus you get a quiet interior filled with various soft-touch surfaces and quality materials. If you want a luxury coupe with a very reasonable price, consider test-driving a 2019 INFINITI Q60 at INFINITI OF DENVER. You may be surprised by how much this vehicle can do.

Protect Your Car From Winter Weather With These 4 Tips

Protect Your Car From Winter Weather With These 4 TipsEvery season has its own hardships for cars, but winter has to be the hardest. Between the cold, the icy roads, the thick snow layers, and the way road salt can rust steel, cars have a lot to deal with when the winter months come around. Fortunately, there are several things you can do to protect your vehicle from the worst of it.

  1. Keep Your Vehicle in Your Garage

Many people don't have the option to park their car in a garage, but if you do have a garage you should make sure you're using it for your car and not just for storage. Keeping your vehicle indoors protects it from snow, hail, and freezing rain, plus it usually stays just warm enough to avoid having the windshield frost over. That means you won't have to sit in your car as it warms up and melts the frost off. It also keeps your car from being hit by slush and mud from passing vehicles.

  1. Replace Your Old Battery

Cold weather makes batteries less efficient. By the time the temperature hits the freezing point, a battery loses a big part of its power. That means it has less energy available to start the engine, and if your battery is already old and weak it might go dead. Cold temperatures are why most batteries die during winter, and that can be a big problem if you aren't at home or in a crowded parking lot. Fortunately, you can test a battery's strength at home or at a mechanic shop and replace it if it's worn out enough.

  1. Keep an Eye on Your Tires

Tires are always losing a little air pressure over time, plus the changing outside temperature can have its own impact on air pressure. Because of these factors, it's important to fill your tires before winter and avoid the uneven wear you get when they're under-inflated. However, you might also want to swap in a set of winter tires. Winter tires have extra treads and different rubber, so they're better at gripping when the road is wet or slippery. Just remember to inflate them to the right pressure when you put them on.

  1. Keep the Wipers in Good Shape

Your windshield wipers are important in winter, partly because of needing to move snow off your windshield and partly because cars can kick up muddy slush onto your windshield while driving in front of you. However, wiper blades don't stay in good shape for very long, and after a few months, they can start to stiffen and crack. If a wiper is missing a big part of your windshield, that means it's getting stiff. Keeping the snow off your window is important, so go ahead and replace the wiper blades if they aren't up to the task.

There are other things you can do to protect your vehicle once winter ends, like washing it to get off the road salt and sand once the temperature goes above the freezing point. Still, these four tips can each save you a lot of trouble when winter comes along.

3 Reasons Why the 2019 INFINITI QX50 is Perfect for Families with Teens

3 Reasons Why the 2019 INFINITI QX50 is Perfect for Families with TeensWhen you're looking for your next car, you want a vehicle that will keep everyone in the family comfortable.  This can seem challenging for a family with teenagers. However, INFINITI has a solution: the 2019 QX50.

  1. ProPilot Assist

INFINITI's core safety system is a must for families with teen drivers. This umbrella system combines many essential elements. If you travel on single lane roads, your QX50 takes over the acceleration, braking, and steering and will not allow your teen to pass.

Add the ProPilot suite, and you'll get automatic braking for both the front and rear brakes. You can also add a lane departure warning system, giving your new driver an extra set of eyes on the road. There is also a forward collision warning system to help your teen avoid crashes. Another feature that you can add to the safety suite is automatic high beams. These light-sensitive high beams turn on or off depending on if you are around other drivers. This feature helps your teen to learn how avoid blinding other drivers.

As parents, this package of safety features allows you to relax because you know your teen will have the help he or she needs to handle anything on the road. When you're in the driver's seat, you can also take advantage of the suite of safety devices during your commute or if you are a carpool driver for younger children to school.

  1. Heads Up Display

The heads up display is another safety feature that is built to help focus wandering eyes. INFINITI has designed a system that projects essential information, like your speed and turn-by-turn navigation, from your dashboard to the lower part of your windshield.

As parents, this display will give you peace of mind since you'll know that your teenager's eyes will not wander while they're driving.  As a driver, you can also benefit from this information as you won't have to worry about losing your concentration on the open road or your crowded daily commute.

  1. SiriusXM Travel Link

The SiriusXM Travel Link is available in the Pure, Luxe, and Essential models to ensure that all drivers have access to it. Without taking his or her hands off the wheel, your teenager can search for the lowest gas prices or closest restaurant. This feature helps them stay focused on the road while planning their next move without waiting until the last second.

As parents, when you are driving, you can check the stock market or the game without taking your hands off the wheel to fiddle with the radio. However, it's important to note that this service is a four-year trial product with the vehicle. After the trial period is over, you can purchase the service for longer if you still own the car.

Are you ready to look for your next QX50? Stop by and see the sales team at Infiniti of Denver today. We look forward to finding the perfect car for you.

Take a trip away from the local hotspots and instead visit some of Denver's hidden gems in the downtown area. We mean restaurants, and this route covers just seven of them. The Original Downtown Denver Food Tour features daily tastings at eateries such as Blue Agave Grill, Zoe Ma Ma, and Cornicello.

The first stop is famous for its fish and chicken tacos, the second specializes in rich Asian cuisine, and the third is your go-to place for gelato, ice cream, floats, and shakes. As you can tell, there are a variety of flavors you can indulge your palate with during this 3.5-hour culinary adventure.

Whether you're interested in Denver's stunning architecture, ghostly tales and legends, historic infrastructure, or top restaurants, there's something for everyone to explore with this charming city's diverse tour offerings.
